Draft for legal review. Version 2026-11-04 draft.
Terms of service
These terms govern your use of our business software service ("the Service"), provided by [Operator legal name], [registered address] ("we", "us"). By signing up you agree to them on behalf of your business ("you").
1. The Service
We provide business software that runs on a server set up only for you, hosted by us in India. The modules you can use are those in your approved plan.
2. Your account
You must give accurate business details. The person who signs up confirms they may bind the business. You are responsible for your users, their roles, and keeping sign-in details secret.
3. Acceptable use
You will not use the Service to break any law, to send spam, to store unlawful content, to attack or probe our systems, or to resell the Service without our written agreement.
4. Your data
You own the data you put into the Service. We process it only to provide the Service, as set out in the Data Processing Addendum, which forms part of these terms.
5. Open-source components
The Service includes open-source software under its own licences, listed on the open-source notices page. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under those licences.
6. Availability and support
We aim to keep the Service available at all times except for planned maintenance, which we announce in advance. We provide support by email on working days.
7. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid us in those 12 months, and neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Ending the Service
You may stop at the end of any term. We may suspend the Service for non-payment after notice, or at once for serious misuse. On termination we provide an export of your data on request, and delete your server as set out in the Data Processing Addendum.
9. Changes
We may update these terms with 30 days' notice. Changes never affect the price fixed for your current term.
10. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at [city] have exclusive jurisdiction.
